Ceiling-hung Tyvek light screen

A 2.1 m banner rail split into three spliced aluminium C-channels

A ceiling banner for a 2100 × 1500 mm Tyvek panel, sized to the plotter's own coordinate space.

A 2.1 m bent rail in 1.5 mm stock is a bad order — bend length is far under 2100 mm, a long thin bar sags, and shipping a formed 2 m part is expensive. So the hang splits into three roughly 700 mm C-channels joined by inner splice plates, and the same three bodies invert to serve as the bottom weight.

The C-section is 36 mm web × 15 mm flanges, satisfying the web ≥ 2 × flange rule while the room only ever sees a 15 mm aluminium line. Three stainless cables pick up the top rail; the Tyvek is sandwiched with flat clamp bars on a 25 mm uncut margin. Inside radius 2.25 mm.

No drawings in the repo — this one is a feature tree to build from, then quote.
